Placeholder is a design-forward,
detail-focused architecture firm working
on domestic spaces of all scales.

We seek to design beautiful, cohesive spaces with the guiding principles of restraint, efficiency, and sensitivity to context. Our practice emphasizes the thoughtful and economical allocation of architectural resources through enduring aesthetics, original details, and calculated interventions.

The best architectural outcomes emerge from an organized and rigorous design process. We support our clients and their teams from initial sketch through project completion with proactive project management, quality control, and thorough project documentation.

Placeholder is based in San Francisco, CA and currently working on projects throughout the Bay Area. For inquiries, reach out to office@placeholder.archi
